Book: Colossians

It’s possible to raise our kids with Christian-ish stuff, but not raise them up with Christ. It’s possible to raise them dependent, but not raise them up. It’s possible not to raise them at all. But to raise them…up…with Christ…involves complete self-surrender and authentic sacrificial love. There is no substitute. There can’t be. If there was, Jesus would have chose it.

Go back before time. Before all galaxies. There He is. The spoken word creates all things. Can you see him? That word became flesh. The incarnate one. The express image of gods glory. Can you see him? Beyond presents and trees. Beyond ribbons and reindeers.is the true reason for the season. God in the flesh, Majesty in a manger, who came for you.
